Since 2004, I've been immersed in the beauty industry, starting in my mother's thriving salon. In 2007, I earned my Beautician Diploma. I developed a passion for Eyebrow Sculpting and Nail Extensions as an artistic outlet, but briefly explored hairdressing in 2011 before returning to beauty full-time. Over the years, I expanded my skills and completed courses in Acrylic Application, Dip Powder, and Light Elegance Gel Application. In 2019, after starting a family, I returned to the Nail Industry, eventually renting space in a local salon, where my business began to flourish. In 2021, I took a significant step by renting my own shopfront, leading to remarkable growth with two full-time nail technicians. In that same year was awarded The Courier-Mail's Brisbanes Top #3 Nail Technician. In 2022, we embraced Polygel as our Acrylic alternative, realising its numerous benefits for retention and personal health. This inspired me to transition into educating others, initially through 1:1 teaching in the salon and now by making our course available online.
